Malawi is more affectionately known as the “Warm Heart of Africa” and this phrase perfectly embodies the character of a country with not just amazingly beautiful landscapes , but also an equally beautiful population of unbelievably friendly people. Whilst the Lake is obviously the main tourist “drawcard” , Malawi has so much more to offer!

Malawi is located  in Southeast Africa and landlocked between Tanzania to the North , Zambia to its West and Mozambique of its Southeast. The fact that Malawi is relatively compact and small is a huge advantage , as traveling between different parts of Malawi seems to not be as long and strenuous as in some other countries in Africa. Another really important positive aspect of Malawi is that English is widely spoken throughout and this just makes communication so much easier.
